Notre Dame, Paris

What a sad week in April 2019 to see Notre Dame ablaze with fire.  It is hard to imagine what happened to start the devastation, for it to go un-noticed for long enough to be completely out of control. And ironic that during a period of restoration, the state of repair has grown a thousand times bigger.

Fibre Broadband, fast but not that fast

I have recently upgraded to Fibre broadband. Tempted to go one better I agreed on Fibre Plus. My previous speeds measured 7 Mbps. Sounds terrible I know and the thought of something ten times as fast was very appealing.

#NiceCow of France

I have a bit of a reputation for taking photographs of cows and took a whole series when was in France a couple of years ago, which I went on to publish on Twitter under the hashtag #NiceCow.  You can still see my photos now if you use this hashtag!

Using my long lens I was able to get up close and personal and I tool some lovely pictures of the most attractive creatures.

This photograph I use as the wallpaper on my PC at work and is one of my favorites. So much so I had to feature him on this site too.  Moo! Or as they say in France, Moo!
